Newsmax: D'Souza Asserts 'Man-of-His-Word' Trump is Right to Clean House

Originally posted at Newsmax.

Dinesh D’Souza said Thursday he is pleased President Donald Trump has ousted top Obama-era staffers from the State Department — and the conservative author and award-winning filmmaker praises the new commander-in-chief as “a man of his word.”

“This news leaves me elated . . . The State Department [has been] a constant thorn in the side of Republicans,” D’Souza said on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show.”

“They were a thorn in the side of [Ronald] Reagan, of [George W.] Bush, and they would be of Trump. So, to clean that place out and fumigate it and bring in some new people couldn’t be better.”

NBC News reported Thursday that the Trump administration began cleaning house in the State Department by booting undersecretary for management Patrick Kennedy, assistant secretaries Joyce Barr and Michele Bond, and Gentry Smith, who runs the Office of Foreign Missions.

Other reports said the four as well as other staffers had resigned — but it’s clear they were no longer wanted.

Bloomberg News reported that while he has not yet been confirmed by the Senate, Trump’s nominee for secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, has started to “exert control” over the department.

A good start, believes D’Souza, director of 2016 documentary Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party.

“Trump is a true outsider. A business guy who comes in, who looks at the world with sort of fresh eyes, and there’s a kind of beautiful simplicity to that,” he told Steve Malzberg.

“Now Trump obviously has a lot of learning to do, but at the same time, this kind of candor is ultimately something that is a real contrast with Obama.

“With Obama’s kind of duplicity, his backroom dealing both domestically and internationally, look what it’s done to American prestige and power around the world. I don’t think we could do worse. So I think Trump is on the right track.”

He called Trump “a man of his word.”

“He comes into office and he literally starts doing one by one all the things that he said he would do. He said he would work to repeal Obamacare, he’s out the gate on that one. He said he would overturn Obama’s executive orders, he’s already done a bunch of that,” D’Souza said.

“He said he would block international funding for Planned Parenthood, he’s already done that. And his big theme from the campaign, the wall [at the U.S.-Mexico border], that he’s already [on]. Now how he pulls this off is going to be a great measure of the skill of his presidency.

“If he can figure out a way to not only build a way but get the Mexicans to pay for it, I think even those of us who supported him would be very impressed.”

There’s no love lost between D’Souza and the Obama administration.

In 2014, D’Souza was sentenced to eight months of community service and five years of probation after pleading guilty to charges of using straw donors to support a New York Senate campaign. He maintains he was targeted by the Obama administration for his political beliefs.

Hillary’s America, now available on DVD, is rated PG-13 for some violence, thematic elements and smoking.

If a pedophile said he was going to rape your children and he did, would you just say ‘Well at least he’s a man of his word’.

Mento Ann, If a pedophile said that to me, he’d be dead so he wouldn’t have a chance to be a ‘man of his word’.
I do believe certain specific terrorist group’s words can be counted upon. They tell us exactly what the plan is for the West…use the refugees to infiltrate (hijrah) and eventually destroy our country from within. They tell us they will and are already doing that. They are men of their words regarding that. However lying and deception (Taqiyya) is part of the plan as well. However, they are not lying when they say they will use the plight of the refugee immigrants to blend in and get a foothold. Those terrorists are not looking for a better free life. They are looking to put everyone under the submission of their cruel and repressive ideology. Please wake up. We finally have a president who is putting the citizens of America’s interest and security first. He is trying to preserve what our country has for the people, including the immigrant people, who are already here. Insane political correctness is suicide. Why is the left so blind to that?

If you are totally against a person’s political views and also oppose that person’s choice of President would you hang around his website and whine?

Islam, by law, is prohibited from US immigration
Islam, by law, is prohibited from US immigration

The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States. That act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of Aliens to the US and remains in effect today. Among the many issues it covers, one in particular, found in Chapter 2 Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by “force, violence, or other unconstitutional means.” This, by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States, but this law is being ignored by the White House.

The laws prohibits entry of “Aliens who the consular officer or the Attorney General knows or has reason to believe seek to enter the United States solely, principally, or incidentally to engage in activities which would be prejudicial to the public interest, or endanger the welfare, safety, or security of the United States.” It also prohibits the entry of Aliens who are members of or affiliated with any organization that advocates or teaches, the overthrow by force, violence, or other unconstitutional means of the US or of all forms of law, and Aliens who publish, circulate and distribute materials teaching or advocating the overthrow by force, violence or other unconstitutional means of the US Government or of all forms of law.

Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US government, the Constitution, and to the Republic. All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life’s guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government. Now the political correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the US because Islam is a religion. Whether it is a religion is immaterial because the law states that Aliens who are affiliated with any “organization” that advocates the overthrow of our government are prohibited. It also prohibits those who distribute literature that advocates the overthrow of our country, which would include the Koran.

In fact, there are many verses in the Koran that command Islamists to kill those who do not submit to allah and the prophet. If Congress so desired to hold the White House accountable to the current immigration of refugees (which also must comply with the law), it has the Immigration and Nationality Act to cite. The Administration is breaking that law. The question is “does Congress have the political will to do something about it?” Or shall we be a nation like that in Isaiah 59:14 where, “justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.” I think you know the answer, at least for now. But there are a handful of Congressmen who are studying this. Pray.

$12 billion dollars isn’t a bad price for the wall. With 325 million people in the U.S., that’s only $36.93 each. I’d gladly chip in for that, even if Mexico didn’t end up paying for it (which I think he will get them to, one way or another).

So you’re saying on one hand that the administration is breaking the law, yet on the other hand you are quoting what our laws AND Islam’s laws say about them not being here due to their teachings. Wow…make up your mind what you want.

Independent reply to Mento Ann. I feel sorry for Ann because she is blinded to where the recent administration was taking and has already to a certain extent taken our country. A person that cannot hear truth and mistakes it for the propaganda she has been fed is dangerous. People have witnessed the terrorists here in their own country and the senseless lives that have been assassinated in the last years; and who riot over the fact their government is hell bent on protecting them and their families by vetting people from known countries that hate us enter in haphazardly. Regardless of what political persuasion you are takes little importance over the fact, in real time now, these people are coming into America and dedicated to killing us. It is not just the current President Trump but all who have held the office have insisted that they enter America legally as our ancestors did. Any American that wants to live in a country that opens it’s borders to any undocumented people should leave here and go to Iraq, Iran, etc please feel free to relocate because the majority in this democracy voted President Donald Trump to make our America great again. Try and see that these actions are not to keep refugees out but to check their backgrounds and receive them legally.
