VIDEO: D'Souza Exposes the Democratic Party's Dirty Secrets

On Thursday, March 3rd, D’Souza joined Glenn Beck for his daily show live from CPAC 2016 in Washington, D.C.

Glenn Beck and Dinesh D’Souza discussed how his upcoming film, Hillary’s America, will pull the curtain back on the secret history of the Democrats. For the last 50 years, the Democratic Party has not only revised their own story, but conscripted Republicans to assist them in disseminating the false narrative of their innocence in America’s worst moments.

Watch the interview now:

For a closer look behind the veil of the Democratic Party, watch the live debut of the Hillary’s America trailer this Saturday at CPAC.

Along with Stacey Dash and Mary Katharine Ham, D’Souza will speak at CPAC on the left’s control of Hollywood, the media, and how we can reclaim our culture’s megaphones. In addition to this hard-hitting and prescriptive discussion, those in attendance and those who have registered to watch live here will become among the first people in the world to see the trailer for Hillary’s America: The Secret History Of The Democratic Party.

The movie is in production now and will open in theaters nationwide this summer, in time to be seen by millions of patriots before they head to the polls in November.

Join Dinesh live from CPAC and watch the Hillary’s America trailer for the first time:

I think you need to rethink your point on America not being founded out of the conquest of crime and thievery. The slavery and the Indian conquests were all started and came from European ideals and mentality. It was the history of the old world that developed this approach and it was the founding of America that eventually rooted out this type of behavior and way of doing things and when the greatness of America overcame these evils we became the great nation that we are. Now the evil of those who have taken over the leadership of America are now changing it as Obama wanted to do, to change America into something fundamentally different which is the evil that we must fight or we will go back to the slavery mentality and forget the greatness of America. Thank you for all you do and the movies you create to bring this out to share with the world so we can better understand the American ideals.

Slavery thrives to this day not in the US, not in Europe, but in Africa and parts of the Islamic world. The writer above rewrites history in an unsupportable effort to place the blame for all the world’s ills at the doorstep of those who first rejected slavery.

As far as tagging the Democrat Party, north and south branches of it, in the lead-up to the War between the States with the “defense of slavery,” how do we explain the attempt by the Republicans to take slavery off the table as an issue impelling the southern states to leave the union? How do we explain the Corwin Amendment? Here was Thomas Corwin, Ohio Republican congressman in the U. S. House, acting in concert with Republican US Senator Wm. Seward and most certainly with the encouragement and approval of Lincoln, introducing an amendment to the Constitution that would have protected slavery in perpetuity where it existed in February , 1861. The amendment passed the House and Senate without a single southern (southern Democrat) vote, since the southerners had all gone home. Saying that the Democrat Party was the pro-slavery party, the KKK party etc. is akin to saying the Jews killed Christ. The South was overwhelmingly Democrat in the run-up to and after the war. The South resisted centralization of power by the northern railroad, banking and industrial interests.

The Republicans were the original “Progressives.” Lincoln was their man. They may have found slavery distasteful, as did many southerners, but their summum bonum was keeping the Empire together at any, and I mean any, cost, including invading the homeland of their former countrymen and causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans. In the 20th Century the Democrats moved sharply to the left and became a national party again “out-progressing” the Republicans except in the Democratic and still for the most part conservative South. We now have two progressive parties, with varying shades of alignment with “Big Business” and “The Little Guy,” and contrasting positions on “traditional values” — abortion, 2A rights, gay “marriage” etc. And those contrasts are blurred beyond distinction in the Northeast.

If you want to look for the original Machiavellian thug, I suggest you suspend your Lincoln idolatry and take another good hard look at the man.

That said, I am a YUGE fan of Dinesh D’Souza. I graduated from Dartmouth in 1972 and became an avid reader of the Dartmouth Review and its editors-in-chief during its early, glory days.
