Dinesh D'Souza

A proper bio, the press kit, his socials, and how to reach his team. Everything about Dinesh in one place.

The biography

Dinesh D’Souza is an Indian-American author, filmmaker, and political commentator. Across forty-plus years of public life he has written 19 books, directed 8 feature documentaries, and built one of the most-watched shows in American politics.

Born in Mumbai, Dinesh came to the United States as a Rotary exchange student in 1978 and went on to study at Dartmouth, where he founded and edited The Dartmouth Review. He worked as a senior policy analyst in the Reagan administration before beginning his writing career with Illiberal Education, the 1991 book that helped frame the early American debate over campus speech codes and identity politics.

His later books and films extended that work across the central arguments of American politics, faith, and history. He has served as a research fellow at the Hoover Institution and the American Enterprise Institute. He lives in Texas with his wife, Debbie.

The job is not to win the news cycle. The job is to make the argument that’s still standing when the cycle is forgotten.
